Hengar Manor Country Park

Hengar Manor forms a superb venue for a fishing holiday in Cornwall. Their tranquil and well-stocked lakes are open all year for the free and exclusive use of our guests. Roger, their Lakes Manager, is there to help with your needs, running the Bait & Tackle shop where you obtain advice, arrange fishing lessons, hire tackle and purchase all your bait requirements.

The three lakes, ranging in size from a quarter to just over one and a half acres, provide perfect training water for the beginner as well as more challenging conditions for the experienced angler. The lakes are stocked with carp, tench, bream and roach. Manor Lake, the largest, has produced carp in excess of 25lbs.

During the summer, they hold regular family fishing competitions. And, if you’re feeling a little more adventurous, why not have a go at deep-sea fishing from one of the local fishing villages on the South coast.
