Berners Hall Fishery

Berners Hall Fishery is set in the Essex countryside, Ongar. There are 3 lakes on the complex, one of them being a large 24 acres reservoir and the other two being newly created carp lakes. In order to fish the lakes, you will need to pre-book in advance.

The main reservoir produced over 30 different 30lb carp last year with the lake carp record currently standing at 44lb with a fish named Rambo. There are a number of catfish in the lake which are reaching over the 70lb mark with an average size of around 40lb. 600 hand-picked carp were stocked along with 14 catfish which were growing in the stock pond since 2006.
