Dawnsvale is set on approx 2.5 acres and is deep in the Essex countryside; you can’t see it from the road you need to drive across 5 acres to get to it. It really is peaceful, rural, no crowd fishing; just as nature intended, the lake is surrounded by trees, so there is plenty of shelter, they have picnic tables around the lake and a portaloo on-site, there is a shop about half a mile away for hot/cold drinks and food. If you want to fish for eels you will need to ask permission as they are preservation waters for eels because of a decline. The water is 24 feet at the deepest point. Plenty of parking is available.
