Lodge Farm Lake is a 12-acre coarse fishing venue located near St. Osyth in Essex. The lake has been established since 2005 and it is controlled by the Colchester Angling Preservation Society. This was virgin water when CAPS took it on and they have stocked the water with carp ranging to over 20lb including some large mirrors. There is a car park at the main entrance. The water is used to irrigate the farmers’ crops, so the water level will change throughout the year. This water will continue to undergo improvements for the next year or two. Trees have been recently planted around the lake, please take the time to give them water during the warmer months. The water is open all year round with no close season. Night fishing allowed.
