Wicks Mere

This fishery is roughly 6 acres in size with average depths of 10ft. It contains some very large carp such as 8 carp over the 30lb mark, 1 over 40lb, and a large amount of backup carp in the 20’s. This lake caters to a range of fisherman such as people who are into their predator fishing with pike reaching the 25lb mark. If you are a match fisherman there are rudd, bream, roach, tench, and carp stocked in the lake.

The fishery has 4 car parking spaces for disabled anglers. Night fishing is allowed with a valid permit and the lake opens from the 1st of May.
