Fishery Information

Bat Lake in Hampshire is a popular small lake with just eighteen fishing spots. It is just under one acre in size and has varying depths from 12 inches to over 4 feet.

The lake was created around the “Bat Cave,” a special building made for bat conservation.

In Bat Lake, you can find Tench, Carp, Roach, Perch, Bream, Crucians, and Rudd. The Carp in the lake can weigh up to 9 pounds. During competitions, weights have gone up to nearly 120 pounds. The best way to fish in Bat Lake is with a pole and float, using meat, hemp, or maggots as bait.
