The pools are situated to the North East of Bridgnorth, Shropshire. You need to approach the pools via Church lane.As you drive along Church lane, you will see an Oak tree on the left with ‘Woodland Lodge Park’ written on it in white paint. A short way after the tree you will see the main entrance on the left, to Woodland Lodge Park.DO NOT take this turning. A few yards further on is another track on the left that leads you down past an old caravan and round the back of the lodges.PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY AND QUIETLY, RESIDENTS LIVE IN THE LODGES.As you come around the back of the last lodge, passing a small pond on your left, look for the steel gate to your right. If the gate is unlocked you can use this access, but please make sure you shut all gates behind you.If the gate is locked, use the track in the field down the left side of the gravel track, or park on the gravel area by the gate if the field is wet.Drive to the bottom of the field and park by the small hut. This is Pool 1.Pool 2 is over to your left in the opposite corner of the field.Parking is on the gravel track by the side of Pool 1.IF THE WEATHER ALLOWS, YOU CAN DRIVE TO POOL 2, but please be sensible, as we do not want to cut up the field or get cars stuck. These two pools are stocked with a good mixture of coarse fish, including Carp to 20lbs, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Bream, Eels and Ide (for those that don’t know, Ide are a member of the Orfe family, that look a little like Roach, but with large eyes). Both are 5-6ft deep and both have an island in them.
