Bransford Game Fisheries

Bransford Game Fisheries comprise three picturesque pools, with superb views down the Teme valley. The Island Pool (the Catch and Release Pool), is Spring-fed, whilst the Lodge and Walton Pools are replenished from a subterranean reservoir of Malvern Spring Water.
The presence of large numbers of Cray-fish is proof of the purity of the water in all three pools.
The pools are stocked on a regular basis with Shasta Rainbow Trout from Bibury Trout Farm, these fish are renowned for their fighting qualities. Average weight is just over 2 lbs. The record to-date is 18lbs 4ozs. There are considerable numbers of Brown Trout in the Lodge and Walton Pools, between 3lbs and 6 lbs in weight. These must be returned if hooked.
