Hawford Bridge Fishery

The 5 mature lakes and 1 mile stretch of river offer a variety of fishing challenges throughout the year. Penlake is the first lake that you will see on entering the fishery and parking is available at either end. With a number of central islands and reed beds each of the 25 pegs offers opportunities to the angler and many are secluded and private.
This is the main match water for the fishery and is stocked with mid-size carp although a number of specimens also patrol the margins and islands. The trees and mature landscaping offer protection in Winter and shade in the Summer.
