Fishery Information

Purple Badger Fishing Lakes in Leicestershire are located on the border of Rutland and Leicestershire. The two fishing lakes are surrounded by woods and wildlife, creating a peaceful and natural setting. There are two shepherds huts by the top lake for relaxing, fishing, and stargazing.

If you prefer camping, you can stay in the bottom field where you can cook on open fires next to your tent. There are also bell tents available for rent, furnished or unfurnished, for a more comfortable camping experience.

The lakes at Purple Badger have been around for over 40 years, previously known as Spring Grange Fisheries or the lakes at Beeby. The coarse lake was originally used for irrigation and now holds roach, perch, tench, and smaller carp. The top lake, with a central island covered in trees and bushes, is home to carp up to 25lbs, rudd, and roach.

Come visit Purple Badger Fishing Lakes for a relaxing and enjoyable fishing experience in a beautiful natural setting.
