Caistor Lakes have introduced 6 new lodges to our specimen lake, Arthur’s.
Cygnet, Shearwater, Stork & Wagtail are the larger, more spacious models which will have direct access to fishing via the cantilever decking, which will open out onto the water. One of these will also be dog-friendly! Pelican & Puffin will be slightly smaller models with private decking, however this will be without the direct access onto the lake.

Match Lake
The Foundry Pool is ideal for the angler wanting to hone his fishing skills and catch a large mixed bag of course fish. Regular competitions are held.
FOUNDRY POOL
This pool has been designed with the purpose of accommodating organised match fishing, corporate events, coaching days and day ticket fishing. It’s ideal for the angler wanting to hone his fishing skills and catch a large mixed bag of course fish. Watercraft including gravel bars, drop offs, shelves and lily pad beds are all featured here. Match and bespoke packages are also available – including trophy, food, presentation and more…
The pool is heavily stocked with Ide, Bream, Tench, Perch, Carp, Roach, Barble, Crucian and Chub. It has 24 permanent pegs, all of which are wheelchair accessible and disabled friendly. Again, this 1.5-acre pool has tackle drop off zones and is surrounded by gravel paths with easy access to the 5-star gold shower and toilet facilities.
To ensure good catch rates and fish health, oxygen levels are tested daily, and nitrates and ammonia levels are tested on a weekly basis.
A day pass on this pool costs £8 from 8am to dusk, with the OAP rate priced at £6.50, Residents (lodge or touring) and Children* can fish for £5!
*Children aged between 8-16 only – Parents/Carers/Guardians must sign a disclaimer on arrival.
HERON POOL
Our Leisure pool is designed for the fisherman wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy a day of leisurely fishing. A truly mixed pool, it contains carp up to 30lbs as well as a variety of Ide, Bream, Tench, Barble, Ghost Carp, Perch, Crucian, Chub, Roach and Gudgeon.
Each of the permanent pegs are wheelchair accessible with gravelled pathways, drop off tackle zones and access to the toilet and shower facilities. As with all of our pools, to ensure the health of our fish and support their natural growth, we check oxygen levels daily and nitrate and ammonia levels on a weekly basis.
