The Chestnuts Lincolnshire holiday cottages are located on a characteristic and authentic farm offering high quality self-catering holiday accommodation, with private fishing lakes. The Chestnuts nestled within idyllic countryside provide the ideal base from which to explore the hustle and bustle of the East Coast and unspoilt Lincolnshire Wolds.

However, many of our guests choose to spend their days by our fishing lakes or just relaxing on the farm, where the children have ample space to play and are always welcome to feed the animals; pigs, chickens, donkeys, rabbits and ducks etc. A short walk to the village of Burgh le Marsh presents a wealth of amenities such as good pubs, restaurants and shops.

he Chestnuts private fishing lakes cater for all types of anglers. A mature fishery with two lakes offers something for everyone, whether you are into big Carp (up to 22lb), Tench, Rudd, Roach or Perch.

All cottages feature outside storage facilities‚ for fishing tackle and there is a bait fridge on site. Tackle is available for hire from the office for beginners.

Set in the heart of The Chestnuts our main lake features custom made, easy access platforms and provides a peaceful and relaxing environment.

Wildshed Lane Lake

Just a short drive down the road from the farm is this well established lake, set in a beautiful and peaceful location, ideal for a relaxing day by the water.
