At Dents Fishery, we take pride in offering a fishing experience that presents a real challenge for passionate anglers. Our carp population is particularly exciting, with many of them having never been caught before. This means that every encounter with these elusive carp is a true test of skill and strategy.

Our fishing lakes are carefully designed to provide varying depths and features, ensuring an engaging fishing experience. Along the margins, you’ll find shallow shelves, gradually descending into depths of 8 to 12 feet. The perfect casting range extends up to 30 yards from the bank, providing ample opportunity to reach promising spots. Among the species you can expect to encounter are Roach, Perch, Eels, Pike, Tench, and Bream. However, it is the Common and Mirror Carp that truly steal the show. The first lake, located closest to the Wardens Office and Toilets, boasts a prolific population of Common and Mirror Carp in the 10-25lb range, with reports of specimens weighing over 35lb.

To ensure your comfort during your fishing sessions, we provide toilet and shower facilities on-site. Additionally, we have plans for a future visitor centre where you’ll be able to enjoy refreshments, breakfast, and meals.
