Fishery Information

Denver Claypit is a deep clay-lined pool situated on the outskirts of Denver town. Covering approximately 1.4 acres, this fishing spot offers a prime habitat for coarse species, with a particular abundance of 15-pound carp.

The fishing area at Denver Claypit features a variety of pegs, with around two dozen pegs resembling wooden and concrete platforms. Each peg is numbered, providing anglers with designated spots for fishing. While most of the pegs can be accessed by car, it’s important to note that there are some pegs located at the bottom of a steep hill. Caution is advised when accessing these pegs to ensure safety.

With its diverse range of pegs and the presence of quality carp, Denver Claypit provides an enjoyable fishing experience for anglers in the area.
