Located on the Holkham Estate in Norfolk, South Creake Fisheries offers a delightful fishing experience with two interconnected lakes. The lakes are stocked with a variety of fish, including carp, roach, rudd, and tench, providing ample opportunities for anglers.
Lake One covers 1.5 acres and holds carp weighing up to 12lbs. If you’re after bigger carp, head to Lake Two, which spans 3 acres. The margins and islands of the lakes are known hotspots for carp, while tench tend to show well in the closer areas.
Tickets for fishing can be obtained directly at the fishery, and night fishing is permitted, but it requires prior arrangement. To ensure the preservation of the fish and the environment, barbless hooks are mandatory, and keepnets are not allowed.
To reach South Creake Fisheries, you can take the B1355 road north from Fakenham towards Burnham Market. Keep an eye out for the Compton Hall sign on your right and shortly after, take a left turn into Southgate Road. The entrance to the fishery will be clearly signposted on your right.
Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a novice looking to enjoy a peaceful day by the lakes, South Creake Fisheries provides a picturesque setting and the opportunity to catch some quality fish in the heart of Norfolk
