The lake is known for its population of common and mirror carp, with both species reaching weights in the mid-20s. The commons have shown particularly good growth rates since a top-up stocking took place three years ago. The largest common carp caught from the lake weighed 30lbs, the largest mirror carp weighed 29lbs 1oz, and the largest ghost carp weighed 24lbs 6oz.

There are two membership options available at High Park Lake. Full membership grants anglers access to fish at any time, including overnight sessions, and is priced at £195. Weekday membership allows fishing on weekdays, including overnight stays, and costs £120. Both membership categories require a one-time joining fee of £30.

Members of High Park Lake are permitted to fish with up to three rods per person, and there are no restrictions on bait usage. This gives anglers the freedom to use their preferred fishing techniques and bait choices.
