Fishery Information

High Park Lake operates as a syndicate water with a maximum limit of 45 members. The fishing season at High Park Lake starts on 2nd February and continues until early October. The lake is known for its population of common and mirror carp, with both species reaching weights in the mid-20s. The commons have shown particularly good growth rates since a top-up stocking took place three years ago. The largest common carp caught from the lake weighed 30lbs, the largest mirror carp weighed 29lbs 1oz, and the largest ghost carp weighed 24lbs 6oz.

There are two membership options available at High Park Lake. Full membership grants anglers access to fish at any time, including overnight sessions, and is priced at £195. Weekday membership allows fishing on weekdays, including overnight stays, and costs £120. Both membership categories require a one-time joining fee of £30.

Members of High Park Lake are permitted to fish with up to three rods per person, and there are no restrictions on bait usage. This gives anglers the freedom to use their preferred fishing techniques and bait choices.

High Park Lake provides an exclusive and limited fishing experience through its syndicate membership structure. Members have the opportunity to target carp of various sizes, with the commons showing notable growth. The flexibility of fishing any time or on weekdays, including overnight stays, adds convenience for anglers. The membership fees are reasonable, and the absence of bait bans allows anglers to experiment with different bait strategies.
