Fishery Information

Roxholme Trout Fly Fishery, located in the village of Carlton in Lindrick, North Nottinghamshire, England, was originally established in 2008 by Andy McDonald, the previous owner of Roxholme Grange. Under his ownership, it gained a reputation as one of the best small stillwater fisheries in the UK, known for its large trout reaching weights of up to 27lb. In 2014, Roxholme was voted the best small fishery.

Currently owned by David and Krystal Utting, the Roxholme Grange Trout Farm and Fly Fishery is a family-run business. The fishery is situated on private land owned by Roxholme Grange, ensuring a well-cared-for and maintained environment for anglers.

The lake at Roxholme Trout Fly Fishery is fully stocked with a controlled stocking policy in place. This ensures the fish remain healthy and are not adversely affected by overstocking issues.
