The River Ponds were formerly built for the purpose of breeding fish, and once called the Stock Ponds but are now used purely for pleasure fishing. With an average depth of 3ft and a very high density of fish they are perfect for children, beginners or those anglers who are after an easy days fishing. They also offer more shelter than the main lakes so are ideal for those blustery days.
