Fishery Information

Located 1.5 miles south of the charming village of Aynho, the Fishery offers a tranquil and serene environment. Aynho itself is conveniently situated just 1 mile from junction 10 of the M40, making it easily accessible from major cities like London, Birmingham, Coventry, and Oxford.

Established in 1973, Upper Aynho Fishery was specifically designed for fly fishing. Over the years, it has flourished into a mature fishery with three secluded lakes that provide an enchanting backdrop for high-quality fly fishing. The lakes, covering approximately three acres in total, are home to Rainbow Trout, with some Brown Trout also present (which should be released unharmed). The lakes are fed by springs and water from the local Ockley Brook, ensuring a constant flow of fresh water. Ample free parking is available, and the fishery boasts good accessibility for all visitors.
