Barnes Lake Fishery

Shadwells Pool, located in Barnes, South West London, offers a serene and tranquil fishing experience within an area dedicated to outdoor sports. Nestled amidst trees and woodland, this old established Estate lake spans approximately 1 ½ acres and boasts depths of up to 5 feet with a silty bottom.

With 23 swims available, including dedicated swims for disabled anglers with convenient parking and easy access, Shadwells Pool caters to anglers of all abilities. The fishery is home to a diverse range of fish species, including Carp reaching up to 32lb, as well as Roach, Tench, Bream, and Perch of good size.

Shadwells Pool operates from 1st April to 31st March, with a close season from 21st December to the end of February. BMAPS bailiffs patrol the water, providing guidance on productive swims, tactics, and answering any inquiries. Please note that Shadwells Pool is a members-only water, although day tickets are available for guests of members.
