Owestrey Lakes

At Spring Heath, you will find two coarse fishing pools: Eccleston Pool and Blurton Pool. These pools were dug 20 years ago and have since matured, with a focus on preserving the natural surroundings. Unlike many commercial fisheries, our pools are not overfished, allowing guests to enjoy the peacefulness of nature while indulging in fishing.

We take great pride in the development of our fishery, and to ensure its success, we collaborate with renowned fishery management consultants such as VS Fisheries and AE Fisheries. Their expertise guides us in habitat improvements, stocking levels, and proper feeding techniques.

Our goal at Owestrey Lakes is to provide anglers with quality specimen fish. We differentiate ourselves from commercial fisheries where catching large quantities of poorly conditioned fish is common. We encourage you to browse through our gallery to see the impressive fish caught by our guests.

To maintain the excellent quality of our fishery, we have implemented certain fishing rules. It is essential that you take the time to read and understand these rules before fishing. Failure to adhere to our wishes may result in a shortened fishing trip.
