Dunwear Ponds

The Dunwear Ponds Complex has a rich history rooted in clay extraction for the Bridgwater Brick and Tile industries. Over the years, the complex has faced various challenges, but with dedicated efforts and a vision for the future, it is steadily regaining its prominence.

Comprising of four main ponds – the North, Senior, South, and Railway ponds – the complex offers a range of fishing opportunities. To address security concerns, all swims have been gated and fenced, with a combination lock system implemented. This ensures a safe and undisturbed fishing experience for anglers.

Facilities on-site include a single toilet with hand washing facilities. The main car park, located off Dunwear Lane, offers ample space for visitors and is also equipped with a combination lock for added security.

As the complex continues to evolve and improve, it is once again becoming a noteworthy fishing destination for anglers seeking a fulfilling and secure fishing experience.
