Perry Street Pond

Chard and District Angling Club, in collaboration with South Somerset District Council, manages several fishing locations, including Perry Street Pond, Chard Reservoir, Sadborow Pond, and The River Isle.

Perry Street Pond, located around 4 miles from Chard, is a former mill pond that offers excellent fishing opportunities. The pond is well-stocked with a variety of Carp ranging from 1lb to 20lb in size, providing anglers with exciting challenges. With 20 well-maintained fishing pegs available, anglers have plenty of options to choose from. During the summer months, the pond boasts numerous features that attract fish, making it an ideal spot for anglers to test their skills.
