Screech Owl Ponds, managed by Bridgwater AA, offer a unique fishing experience. The ponds are shallow and characterized by reed and rush-lined banks. While the two main ponds, spanning 3.5 acres, have limited angling space, the 1.5-acre pond allows fishing access all around its perimeter.

Although the other pools may be challenging to reach, they also contribute to the diversity of the fishery. The clear waters of Screech Owl Ponds are home to tench weighing up to 4lb, bream up to 3lb, roach and rudd up to 1lb, and occasionally stray carp.
