Baden Hall offers anglers a mature gravel pit lake spanning approximately 12 acres, providing a spacious and comfortable fishing experience. The lake is divided into 18 single pegs, each featuring a large fishing cabin. These cabins are designed to accommodate the largest beds and all your fishing gear, ensuring ample space for anglers. For convenience, each cabin is equipped with essential fishing accessories such as an unhooking mat, landing net, water bucket, and weigh sling. To maintain biosecurity, it is requested that anglers refrain from bringing their own equipment to reduce the risk of disease transmission.
The depth of the water varies across different sections of the lake. The area closest to the railway boasts depths of up to seven feet just three rod lengths out before gradually dropping to a maximum depth of 10 feet. While the margins between pegs 9 and 10 are relatively shallow, peg 8 quickly shelves off to a reasonable depth. Between pegs 11 and 12, a larger shallower area of around 5 feet can be found. Pegs 13 and 14 overlook the middle of the lake, with depths ranging from 5 to 8 feet. Peg 15 offers depths of nearly 11 feet just 15 yards from the bank. Peg 16 features depths ranging from 5 to almost 9 feet, while pegs 17 and 18 are situated in a bay area with deep margins descending to approximately 9 feet.
