Sherwood Water, also known as Reydon Pit 1, is a great fishing spot in Suffolk with 29 areas to fish from. It’s the biggest pit managed by the Society and has a variety of fish to catch. The lake has different types of areas to fish in, like reed-fringed spots, deep areas, and a bay with lily pads. The water can be shallow or deep, ranging from 2 to 14 feet.

Pegs 1 and 2 are set aside for anglers with disabilities and have special parking spots close by. There’s also a toilet for everyone to use. The whole lake is accessible, but anglers need to make sure the gate is always shut to keep otters out.

Sherwood Water has lots of different fish to catch, like carp, bream, tench, crucian carp, chub, roach, rudd, perch, and gudgeon. There’s something for every angler to enjoy, no matter what they like to catch. It’s a great place for all anglers to have a fun and successful fishing trip.
