Broadwater Lake is a coarse fishing venue located in Farncombe on the northern edge of Godalming. It is situated in a park that covers 73 acres. The lake itself is about 10 acres and it is controlled Godalming Angling Society, which has a large and active membership and takes a keen interest in the management of the waters.The lake is stocked with mainly carp – both Common and Mirrors to in excess of 30lbs now. Also, there is a reasonable head of Crucian carp to 4lbs, an excellent number of roach to 2lbs, perch to 3lbs, Rudd to 1lbs and the occasional Tench up to 6lbs.There are 48 swims, and a car park and toilets on the site.
