Canaan lake

Canaan Lake is a small, shallow man-made lake situated in North Patchogue. Accessible from Ohls Street, it offers seasonal fishing opportunities with trout stocked by the DEC during the spring and fall. In addition to trout, the lake is known for producing sizable yellow perch and chain pickerel. However, please note that during the summer months, heavy aquatic plant growth can make fishing challenging.
