With carp weighing up to 15 pounds, as well as bream, crucians, roach, and rudd, Wardour Lake presents a diverse range of fish to target. Various fishing methods can be employed, with pellets fished over pellet or method feeder rigs proving successful for specimen carp. Match anglers have found success using the method feeder and pellet waggler, while pole fishing yields impressive catches of mixed fish.

Open year-round from dawn to dusk, Wardour Lake provides a picturesque and accessible fishing destination for anglers of all levels. Night fishing is not permitted, ensuring a peaceful and enjoyable fishing experience during daylight hours.
