The Folds Farm Fishery on the River Avon offers a unique angling experience in a beautiful and expansive setting. Situated on one of the largest river bends, the fishery spans approximately two miles, stretching from the New Forest plateau to the edge of Fordingbridge. This vast stretch of the river provides ample opportunities for solitude and exploration.
There are three access options available to anglers. The first is the club car park at Folds Farm itself, offering convenient access to the upstream reaches of the fishery. The second option is another car park along the farm track, situated in the middle of the valley, allowing access to all parts of the fishery. Lastly, anglers can utilize the car park at the Surma Valley Indian Restaurant on the A338, providing easy access to the middle and lower reaches of the fishery from the Fordingbridge side.
Whether you prefer the tranquility of upstream fishing or the exploration of the middle and lower reaches, Folds Farm Fishery on the River Avon offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature and pursue a variety of fish species in a picturesque and secluded environment.
