Fishing with Adults with Additional Needs at Parker Baits HQ Lake

In this video, we welcomed SSPW to Parker Baits HQ Lake for a really special day on the bank.

For those that may not know, SSPW is the longest established private and independent day service provider for adults with special needs in Southampton, and it was a pleasure to have everyone with us for the day.

We started the session by showing everyone how to make up simple PVA bags, what to put in them, and how to keep things nice and straightforward. From there, it was all about enjoying the experience, having a laugh, learning something new, and getting involved in a bit of fishing.

There was plenty going on throughout the day, from potting up hookbaits and having a go with the bait boat, right through to getting the rods out on the HQ lake.

To top it all off, we even managed to get one of the lake’s stunning residents on the bank — the triple row ghosty.

This was a brilliant day from start to finish, and we want to say a huge thank you to SSPW and everybody involved for coming down and making it such a memorable session.
