Woke up this morning to a lake full of crashing water and quickly realized the fish have started spawning in the middle area. As anglers, this is the most critical time of the year to put our own personal targets aside and give the fish the total respect they deserve.

The most incredible part of the morning? We didn’t have to ask a single angler to reel in. Every single person on the lake recognized what was happening and reeled their rods in off their own back. That is what proper angling community and etiquette is all about.
It’s an unusual year with them choosing the middle section over the traditional top-end shallow bays, but they are happy doing their thing. Massive credit to everyone on the bank for having their priorities exactly where they should be. Let them do their thing, protect the future of the stock, and we go again next time! 🤝🌿
