The Manor Fishery is the fishing venue for Tom Dove and Adam Reed as they go carp fishing for one of the biggest carp in the country. A legendary venue. And some serious unfinished business.
Dovey returns to The Manor, but this time he’s joined by Adam Reed, who steps in for Spooner as the pair take on five nights in pursuit of one very special carp – the Lord of the Manor, a huge fully scaled mirror weighing over 60lb.
After coming agonisingly close during the previous underwater sessions, Dovey knows exactly what could be swimming over his rigs. For Adam, it’s an opportunity to join the hunt and help finish what was started.
With near-perfect conditions and almost the entire lake at their disposal, the pair approach the challenge together – watching the water, making moves and continually adapting as they try to put themselves in the best possible position.
Dovey quickly gets amongst The Manor’s incredible stock, while Adam has a much tougher start. With carp showing around him but bites proving difficult to come by, he’s forced to rethink his approach. Moves are made, rigs are changed and presentations are refined until things finally begin to fall into place.
Then they see the Lord.
Not only is the fish in the area, but it’s feeding frighteningly close to their rigs.
Suddenly every show, liner and bite takes on a completely different meaning.
With both Dovey and Adam now catching, the spots producing and one of the most sought-after carp in the country seemingly within reach, the pressure begins to build.
Can they work together to finally settle the score with the Lord of the Manor?
