The fishing action really went crazy once night time arrived on this trip.
Graeme plays on a hunch that with a cold spell approaching the chance to get a bit of bent rod action should be taken immediately. So he finishes his workload to grab a few hours late one afternoon at Pondwood where he uses his special bait to great effect. It was a swim he had never fished from before, but a bit of long casting soon got him among the feeding fish. Then it’s off for a bit of military action, this time some information on Napoleonic times and the weapons used in that period. It was a military reenactment so only the ear drums were given some exercise. It shows where the first Sniper unit was born and a bit of history of how any conflict with the enemy was undertaken.
