Dayhouse Farm Fishery & Campsite in the West Midlands has two fishing pools for anglers to enjoy.

The Top Pool is near the car park and has 33 fishing spots. You can catch carp, tench, bream, and other fish here. Carp can weigh up to 22lb. It’s a good spot for fishing in the summer. The pool opened in 2006 and pegs 5, 8, 21, and 30 are the best spots.

The Bottom Pool is closer to one of the car parks and has 46 fishing spots. You can catch carp, tench, bream, and other fish here too. Carp weighing over 30lb can be found in this pool. The best pegs are 18, 22, 29, and 38. This pool opened in 1996.

Fees for fishing are £8 for adults and £7 for OAPs and Under 16s. Extra rods cost £1 each on top of the day price. You pay the fees at the pool, no need to book in advance.

There are rules to follow when fishing at Dayhouse Farm Fishery:
– Use barbless hooks only
– Dip nets in disinfectant and rinse them
– Empty keep nets at 4 o’clock
– No keep nets after 4 o’clock
– Use carp mats at all times
– No hooks larger than size 10
– No floating baits or braided fishing line
– Use a landing net at all times
– Fish only from designated pegs
– Return all fish to the water
– Drink alcohol in moderation
– Get permission for dogs
– Kids under 14 must be with an adult
– No BBQs, litter, or unused bait left behind
– No swearing or abusive behavior
– Don’t wrap fish in towels
– Show a valid fishing license if asked
– Only 1 spectator per fishing spot, unless you ask first
– Dayhouse Farm & Fishery is not responsible for injuries, damage, or theft
– The management can refuse entry and change the rules at any time

If you don’t follow the rules, you’ll be asked to leave and can’t come back.

Night fishing is not allowed at Dayhouse Farm Fishery.
