Fens Pool and Buck Pool in the West Midlands are former steelworks sites turned into a nature reserve with four pools.
Fishing permits cost £16.50 for adults, £8.50 for concessions, with children under sixteen exempt.
Permits are valid for a year and can be purchased at The Dell Stadium in Pensnett.

Fens Pool and Buck Pool in the West Midlands used to be part of a steelworks site but is now a beautiful nature reserve with four pools. These pools are home to fish like pike and carp.
Tickets for fishing at the reserve cost £16.50 for adults and £8.50 for concessions. Concessions are for people who are unwaged and can show proof, like a college ID or pension book. Children under sixteen do not need a permit. Permits are valid for one year and can be bought at The Dell Stadium in Pensnett.
Fishing is not allowed from March 15th to June 15th each year.
To get to the reserve, take the A4036 at the roundabout and then follow the signs to Brierley Hill. There are public car parks on Chapel Street and at the Wardens’ Office on Pensnett Road.
