About Mallory Park Fisheries
Mallory Park Fisheries in Leicestershire was created in 1995 by Roy Marlow, a UK international match angler. He transformed a large potato field in a village near Leicester into a top-notch fishery called The Glebe with the help of friends and funding from The National Lottery. Roy and his wife Sue have worked hard for 20 years to make Mallory Park Fisheries one of the best in England.
The Glebe has 9 fishing lakes and several wildlife ponds spread over 36 acres. It is home to a variety of fish and wildlife. Seven of the lakes have received a gold accreditation for maintaining high standards in fish quality and the environment.
Mallory Park Fisheries is a members-only club, so there are no day tickets available. The lakes offer a peaceful and secure environment for fishing enthusiasts. The fishery mainly has carp, but also bream, roach, rudd, gudgeon, and perch.
The fish at The Glebe may not be huge, with the biggest carp weighing around 20lbs. However, you can expect plenty of bites throughout the day. The fishing pegs are well-constructed, level, and safe for all anglers, including those with mobility issues.
The fishing season at The Glebe runs from June 1st to March 31st. Members can participate in popular matches and national events, giving them the opportunity to meet famous anglers. Mallory Park Fisheries is a great place for anglers of all levels to enjoy a day of fishing in a beautiful natural setting.
