About Rougham Carp Fishery (formerly Rushbrooke)
Rougham Carp Fishery, previously known as Rushbrooke, is located just 5 miles outside Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. We offer a great carp fishing experience with a limited number of season tickets available. This means our members can enjoy a peaceful and exclusive environment.
Our fishery is home to around 150-200 carp, including some over 40 years old. We have a mix of original fish and around 80 carp sourced from top carp farms in the country. We introduced 30 high-quality carp from VS Fisheries in 2011, as well as 10 Dinton strain mirrors. These fish are growing quickly, with the largest already reaching mid-twenties and all in double figures.
In 2014, we added 40 carefully chosen carp from Deben Valley Fisheries to our stock. This ensures the longevity and health of our fishery. Currently, we have 25-30 carp weighing over 20lbs, with the rest in the double-figure range.
At Rougham Carp Fishery, we are committed to providing a top-notch carp fishing experience in Suffolk. Our growing carp, peaceful surroundings, and dedication to maintaining high quality make us a popular choice for anglers who love fishing for big carp.
