The lake used to be a brickyard and has different depths, ranging from two feet to over fifteen feet. The deepest spots are between fourteen and twenty feet.

You can catch various types of fish in the lake, like roach, rudd, perch, carp, tench, and bream. In the summer, you can use maggots on a waggler or pole to catch silverfish. For bigger catches, use larger baits to attract better quality fish. The carp in the lake can weigh up to 25lbs and are known for their strong runs. Bream can be caught using feeders and baits like maggots, worms, and small pellets. If you fish close to the shore with bread, corn, or meat, you might catch some good-sized tench.
