About Alverstone Ponds
Alverstone fishery has three ponds that were opened at different times – the first in 1996, the second shortly after, and the third about three years ago. Even though it is a small fishery, it is stocked with various types of fish like Carp, Crucians, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd, and Bream. The ponds are kept natural to attract wildlife such as Kingfishers, Buzzards, and Barn Owls, and to make the experience enjoyable for our anglers. Each pond is separated by bushes and trees, giving the feeling of having your own private fishing spot. The owners have made sure to maintain a balance between keeping the ponds natural and easy for fishing.
