About Heatherton Pond
Heatherton Pond was created in 1998 to help manage water from the nearby Heatherton housing development. It gets water from a storm drain on Pastures Hill and releases it into Hell Brook. The pond is used for fishing, specifically for Carp fish. We are working with Derby City Council to make the pond better by adding more plants and improving the habitat for the fish.
