About Throop Fisheries
Ringwood & District Anglers’ Association (RDAA) has been around for more than 65 years and has become one of the best fishing clubs in the South of England.
The club has access to nearly 13 miles of the famous Hampshire Avon River, including The Royalty, Severals, and Ibsley, as well as over 20 miles of the Dorset Stour River, including the amazing Throop fishery. They also have access to several still waters, including a great Carp fishing spot.
The club has gained control or access to some of the best fisheries in the area, and club members have caught many big fish that have been featured in fishing magazines.
The club offers a variety of fishing options, with many waters providing a good chance of catching a big fish. The club is run by anglers, for anglers, and has a great reputation among fishing enthusiasts. They have good relationships with landowners, which has allowed them to negotiate benefits like extended fishing times and night fishing on some waters.
The club has recently purchased two great lake venues (Hightown Lake and The Poulner Lake Complex) and added Rockford Lake to their list of fishing spots, which they see as a big step in securing the club’s future.
