Membership for the Lower Lake is £350 per year. The lakes have a variety of features including islands, streams, bloodworm beds, and waterfalls. The fish stocks include carp up to 35lbs, bream up to 14lbs, perch up to 3lbs, pike up to 25lbs, roach up to 2lbs, and tench up to 8lbs. The carp in the Lower Lake are mostly mid to upper doubles, with some reaching into the twenties.
Anglers are allowed to use a maximum of 3 rods, and bait boats are permitted at Belvoir Lakes. There are occasional events held in the Castle Grounds that may affect fishing. The upper lake is open from 1st February to 1st August.
