About Higham Lakes

Higham Lakes in Northumberland is currently closed until further notice due to some unexpected issues. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Higham Lakes is a great place for people who enjoy fly fishing. There are three lakes here, with two of them being for fly fishing only. These lakes are regularly stocked with trout that can weigh anywhere from 2lb to over 25lb.

The “bottom lake” is a special fly fishing lake where you can catch and release trout that weigh between 5lb and 20lb or more. If you have a 5-hour ticket, you can release up to 4 fish, and if you have a full-day ticket, you can release up to 6 fish. After fishing in the bottom lake, you can move to the top lakes where you can catch and release as many fish as you like.

Higham Lakes welcomes anglers of all levels, from beginners to experts. They also offer lessons for anyone who wants to learn or improve their fishing skills. The fishery can also host corporate events, competitions, and fishing clubs.

Keep checking for updates on when Higham Lakes will reopen.
