About Marden Quarry
Marden Quarry Park is a beautiful park just a short walk from Whitley Bay town center. It has lovely woodlands and grassy areas made of limestone. What’s special about this park is that it’s one of the few places where you can see magnesium limestone north of the River Tyne.
