With an abundance of fish species, particularly carp, tench, bream, roach, and rudd, it offers anglers an ideal destination for a day by the water.
About Marston Pits
Marston Pit used to be a clay pit for making bricks in Bedfordshire in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. After the brick industry slowed down, the pit filled with water and became a popular spot for leisure activities like fishing. Ampthill Angling Club has owned the pit for over 30 years and has stocked it with fish. The lake is now known for its carp fishing, but also has a good supply of tench, bream, roach, and rudd. It’s a great place for anglers to enjoy a day out by the water.
