Decoy Farm in East Sussex has a lake called Decoy Lake that is known for producing some really big catches, with the best so far being almost 150 pounds. Most of the fish in the lake are carp, but there are also crucians, tench, rudd, roach, perch, and chub. If the carp aren’t biting, you can still catch good numbers of rudd and roach. The lake is not far from the parking area and has reed beds in the middle and an island at one end. Many of the fishing spots have bushes and trees hanging over the water, which give the fish more places to hide. The lake is not very deep, with the deepest part being about four feet.
