About Hempstead Ponds
Hempstead Ponds in East Sussex are owned by the Southdown Angling Association. You can find them off the A22 near Hempstead Lane. To get in, go through a gate on the right side, about 550 yards from the A22. Park along the track and make sure to close the gates. Walk through a second gate to access the first pond. The second pond is about 300 yards to the left.
You can fish for carp and tench at Hempstead Ponds. Remember, no fishing at night and only use barbless hooks.
