About Blagdon Farm
Blagdon Farm in Devon is home to a 1.5 acre fishing lake filled with Carp and other types of fish. The lake has a variety of Common, Ghost, and Mirror Carp, as well as elusive Grass Carp. There are also plenty of Rudd, Roach, Tench, and Orfe fish to catch.
The lake is not overcrowded with fishermen, so the fish are healthy and in good condition. There are some deep areas in the lake, but most fish are caught closer to the shore. Some of the fish caught here have weighed up to 14lb, with a recent catch of a 16lb Grass Carp.
Blagdon Farm is now associated with Pallatrax, a company that specializes in water and ecology management. Guests and day-fishers can buy Pallatrax bait and tackle from the farm’s reception.
