Stonegate Lake in Greater Manchester is located near Clough Road in Littleborough. It is a 3-acre reservoir known as Whiteley Knowles Reservoir. You can fish for Perch and Trout here using any method except live bait. The lake is open for fishing all year round, but fishing is not allowed during the night. This fishing spot is only available to members. To get there, drive to Clough Road and park outside Stonegate. Walk through the gate posts, stay to the left as you pass by the houses and go through the stile or gate. Follow the path along the right bank of the stream for about half a mile across rough ground until you reach the reservoir.
